Metal Gear Solid, original released for Windows PC's in 2000, is based off the Japanese only release, Metal Gear Solid: Integral. While keeping some of the new additions, inducing the bonus VR Missions, Very Easy difficulty and First Person mode, other features were removed, including from the original PlayStation game, due hardware limitations of the platform.
