Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal cookies and local storage to operate ChildSafe Media. This page explains what we set, why we set it, and how you can control it.
What We Use
- Authentication cookies (essential): Set by Supabase to keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Anonymous client ID (localStorage, essential for anonymous users): A random ID used to enforce fair‑use limits in AI chat. This does not track you across other sites.
- Analytics (optional): With your consent, we load Umami (privacy‑friendly analytics), Google Analytics (website traffic and usage), and Microsoft Clarity (experience insights). These help us understand feature usage and improve the product. Google Analytics is configured with privacy-focused settings including IP anonymization.
